Ronan is an associate at Phillips Barristers, where he practices in the areas of Aboriginal law, class actions and civil litigation. Ronan initially joined the firm as a summer student and completed his articles at the firm before returning as an associate in 2025.

Ronan graduated with Distinction from the Combined JD/MA English Program at the University of Toronto in 2024. During his studies, Ronan received awards for excellence in tort law, constitutional law, and oral advocacy. Ronan also received a legal writing scholarship from the Faculty of Law for his research project on extralegal responses to climate change. Ronan is committed to combatting climate change and the systems most responsible for it.
